HARLEY-DAVIDSON FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide (2010) specs

HD-Harley Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide (2010) Pictures, Review and Specification.
- The Harley-Davidson Wide Glide is new for 2010 and it is entirely reduced to a big V-Twin engine around which they’ve contoured the old-school chopper style. Inspired from its glorious past and looking towards the future, this Dyna model is a low, stretched-out custom with drag bars and forward foot controls that give its rider a real fists-in-the-wind profile. Also, the LED stop/turn/tail light combo and side-mounted license plate keep the chopped rear fender clean; so clean that no rebel out there will ignore it. NEW HARLEY-DAVIDSON® WIDE GLIDE® ROLLS WITH OLD-SCHOOL STYLE Wide Glide Model Returns with a Chopped Rear Fender, Black Trim and Tommy Gun Exhaust -

Harley Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide (2010)

The 2010 Wide Glide is a new Harley-Davidson Dyna® model done up old-school chopper style – a low, stretched-out custom with forward foot controls that give its rider a real fists-in-the-wind profile. Its name-sake wide front end, black-wire sissy bar and available orange-to-yellow fade flames paint scheme might be hits from the bike-builder archives, but the LED stop/turn/tail light combo is new technology that keeps its chopped rear fender clean and uncluttered. The new Wide Glide is also priced to be a great value – call it affordable attitude.

The Wide Glide motorcycle is powered by a rubber-mounted Twin Cam 96™ V-Twin powertrain with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) that produces 92 ft. lbs. of peak torque at 3000 rpm. The engine is finished in black powdercoat with bright machined highlights on the cylinder fins and chrome-plated rocker and derby covers. The 6-Speed Cruise Drive® transmission features a new helical-cut fifth gear for smooth operation. Distinctive Dyna Wide Glide styling cues include an under-seat battery box, exposed rear shock absorbers, and a 4.7-gallon fuel tank with the speedometer mounted in the console.

Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) presents the pinnacle of performance and a truly grand getaway for touring riders in 2008 with the FLHTCUSE3 Screamin’ Eagle Ultra Classic Electra Glide. Powered by the Twin Cam 110 engine with 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission, the Screamin’ Eagle Ultra adds increased fuel range and a new Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to its impressive array of standard features. Styling updates include a Granite finished powertrain and three new paint schemes, including the 105th Anniversary Crystal Copper and Black Onyx.

The Screamin’ Eagle Ultra features the largest-displacement production engine offered by Harley-Davidson, the 110-cid (1800cc) Twin Cam 110. A high-performance V-Twin engine that delivers 115 ft. lbs. of torque at 3000 rpm, it also has Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI). The 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission provides lower cruising rpm in top gear. The powertrain is finished in a new Granite coating with chrome covers available only on CVO models.

Long distance riders will no doubt enjoy the extra fuel range provided by the six-gallon fuel tank, which is now standard on all 2008 Harley-Davidson touring models. The Screamin’ Eagle Ultra features standard ABS, which is an available option on all 2008 Harley-Davidson Touring and VRSC models. ABS is designed to help you maintain control during emergency stopping situations, especially those that happen in less than ideal conditions. The Screamin’ Eagle Ultra also features Brembo front and rear brakes for maximum performance, feel and look. The new Isolated Drive System can enhance riding when accelerating, cruising and shifting.

Other new features on the 2008 Screamin’ Eagle Ultra include an Ultra King Tour Pak with premium luggage rack, color-matched wrap around lights and carry-out liner. Dual control leather heated seat with passenger backrest and complementary rider adjustable backrest add to the comfort. Floating front brake rotors, front brake calipers with CVO inserts and an extended reach billet brake lever are covered in chrome. Chrome four-inch Touring Cross-Over mufflers provide solid sound and feel. The Screamin’ Eagle Ultra also features a power locking system with a new remote/barrel key fob, spun aluminum metal gauge face, color matched derby covers and CVO logo ignition switch decal.

The Harley-Davidson CVO program creates limited-production, exclusive motorcycles produced by teams of technicians in a special assembly area at the Harley-Davidson plants in York, Pa., and Kansas City. Approximately 4,150 examples of the 2008 Screamin’ Eagle Ultra will be assembled at the York Vehicle Operations facility. The suggested U.S. retail price for the 2008 Screamin’ Eagle Ultra is $34,995 ($35,095 in California). The 105th Anniversary package adds $495.

The Screamin’ Eagle Ultra is based on the Harley-Davidson FLHTCUI Ultra Classic Electra Glide, and offers other premium amenities from that model such as a 40-watt CD/AM/FM/WB/MP3 Advanced Audio System by Harman-Kardon, CB and intercom, and passenger audio with controls, cruise control, plus standard XM Radio and integrated navigation system. The handlebar is internally wired with new Electronic Throttle Control for sleek looks and a new stabilizer system reduces engine vibration. Adjustable air deflectors on the fairing also improve rider and passenger comfort.

In addition to the chrome and rubber Ironside collection with hand grips, rider and adjustable passenger footboards, highway pegs, shift pegs and brake pedal pad, the Screamin’ Eagle Ultra features include power saddlebag locks, multi-function switches and an oil cooler with chrome cover. The Screamin’ Eagle rides on the Touring-exclusive air-adjustable rear suspension and Chrome Nine-Spoke Cast Aluminum wheels. Instruments with spun-aluminum metal faces are mounted below a custom black-leather inner fairing pad with chrome trim.

The Screamin’ Eagle Ultra will be offered in three exclusive color combinations: 105th Anniversary Crystal Copper and Black Onyx, Copper Canyon and Stardust Silver, and White Frost and Silver Mist. The 105th Anniversary serialized limited-edition model also features exclusive medallions, badges and wrap-around Tour Pak. HARLEY-DAVIDSON FLTRX Road Glide Custom (2010) specs

HD-Harley Davidson FLTRX Road Glide Custom (2010) Pictures, Review and Specification.
- Among Harley’s nine all new 2010 models, we find the Road Glide Custom a much more aggressive approach towards the shark-nose Harley-Davidson classic style. Not only the bike is now lowered, but also features a big 18-inch front wheel, a 2-into-1 exhaust, and a smooth tail light assembly, all worthy of a machine that has the ‘custom’ word in its name. While the chassis is based on a single-spar, rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm developed to withstand the demands of long-haul touring riders and today’s more-powerful engines, we’re happy to hear that the 96ci V-Twin behind this model is capable of 125.55 Nm at 3500 rpm, which makes the Road Glide Custom even a bigger temptation.

The new Road Glide Custom motorcycle is a tougher, younger vision of the shark-nose Harley-Davidson classic. Here’s a bagger with a frame-mounted fairing that offers a lean, hot-rod look. Road Glide Custom leads with a big 18-inch front wheel draped with a clean FL fender, follows with a 2-into-1 exhaust feeding a long chrome muffler, and exits with a smooth new tail light assembly. Hugging the pavement on a slammed rear suspension, the Road Glide Custom rolls with a cool swagger.

But cool can still tour. That aerodynamic fairing offers outstanding weather and wind protection and holds a cockpit-style array of instruments. Hardshell saddlebags and the 40-watt Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon are standard equipment on the new Road Glide Custom model.

The Road Glide Custom model is built on the innovative Touring chassis introduced by Harley-Davidson in 2009, based on a single-spar, rigid backbone frame developed to withstand the demands of long-haul touring riders and today’s more-powerful engines. The cast aluminum wheels were created using finite element analysis for maximal stiffness with minimal weight. The 180/65-16 Dunlop® D407 Multi-Tread rear tire designed specifically for the Harley-Davidson Touring chassis feature a harder center tread compound and softer shoulder compound to enhance handling and extend rear-tire tread life by 25 percent.

Air-adjustable rear shocks accommodate variable passenger and luggage loads. Chassis geometry and suspension calibration work with the dynamics of the frame to deliver a combination of comfort and handling from a touring motorcycle that’s equally at ease rolling down the Interstate or negotiating a tight parking situation.

The Twin Cam 96™ V-Twin engine features Harley-Davidson Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) that delivers crisp response, easy starting cold or hot, and self-adjusts to changing elevation and atmospheric conditions. Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) unclutters the handlebar area and enables an easy upgrade to optional cruise control. The engine is rubber-mounted in the chassis, and mated to a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission with a tall top gear for quiet, economical highway cruising. The exhaust system is designed to minimize heat exposure to the rider and passenger.
